Lexus and Mark Ronson join forces in latest brand campaign

This month Lexus has partnered up with popular musician Mark Ronson for its latest 'Make your Mark' campaign. The campaign involves a series of customer experiences that will take place over the next six months. The experiences will follow on from the automotive brand’s 2015 Jude Law campaign and take inspiration from technology, music and art to promote the launch of the new LC.

What will the world look like in 2050?

To celebrate its 20th anniversary, Kaspersky has created an interactive map called ‘Earth 2050’ to showcase what the world may look like in 33 years’ time. The map allows viewers to ‘look back and look forward simultaneously’ and gives a glimpse of the future based on the predictions of professionals, futurists and the public. Illustrations can be created by anyone once they have been vetted by Kaspersky and creators can make predictions for 2030, 2040 and 2050. All the illustrations are brought together in 360-degree views of cities across the world.

Greenpeace brings its work to everyone through new VR app

Greenpeace has recently partnered up with AllofUs to launch its very own VR app which will show users the endangered areas of the world that Greenpeace are campaigning and fundraising for, including the Arctic and the Amazon. The app allows people to see the effects of global warming in these locations - something that most people never get to experience first-hand. It also allows supporters to stay up-to-date with charity activities.

Samsung embarks on a giant smartphone tour

Samsung has created a giant smartphone to celebrate the launch of the Galaxy S8. The giant S8 will be touring the UK throughout April and May, stopping at 20 locations. All locations have been picked through a public vote of the 20 UK views that give Brits the most pleasure. The giant display will showcase the views through the S8’s stunning Infinity Display screen and has already visited Stonehenge, London and St Ives. Make sure you check it out at a location near you soon!

Print your data anywhere!

A student team from Duke University have created spray-on memory storage that allows you to store data on any object or surface. The material is made from polymer matrix and copper nanowires that can be sprayed by an aerosol jet printer and nanoparticle inks. The spray-on memory is currently in its initial stages and can only store a tiny amount of data, but the creators believe that if it is adapted for commercial use then is could be an easy way to store digital information on clothing, groceries and medicine.
